This past Sunday we had the pleasure of attending one of the coolest birthday parties ever. No, it wasn't anyone's big 3-0 bash or was for a 4 year old. My dear friend, J, was so sweet to host us along with her big boys friends at the new Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas. To say this place is a must see is an understatement. This. place. is. AH-MAZING. It speaks to all ages (Including our baby boy...think lots of colors and fun things for babies to become mesmerized by) and literally is THE new hot spot in town. After pizza, cake and volcano and dino demonstrations (given by one of the most lovely staff members), we were free to explore the entire place. Floors and floors of amazing thing after amazing thing. Casey and I had the pleasure of attending a private event when the museum first opened but we only saw the energy and minerals floor so it was so neat to go back and explore. Well...our exploring was more of a sprint through the dinosaurs, space, re-visit the energy and minerals wing as fast as we could because our little nugget was fading. By the end, he had managed to nuzzle himself into the crook of his daddy's arms and pass out. Totally should have broken out the Baby Bjorn for this trip....I dream of the day when we go back and I seriously may be purchasing a membership and taking W as he grows up.

Who doesn't love sea turtles? The sea turtle scene in Finding Nemo is probably one of my favorite movie clips of all time. I also dream of witnessing baby sea turtles hatch and begin their voyage into the sea for the first time. Oh gosh, how breathtaking would that be.

And he's asleep. Please do not take W's sleepiness as him being bored by the place. He was just simply tired :) GO VISIT ASAP and do not wear heels as I did. Wear walking shoes and plan to be there for hours upon hours.

Crewcuts boys shirt. Tory Burch tortiose sunnies (similar). Forever 21 jean leggings. Saks 5-48 mirrored wedges. Jade bracelet (similar). Ralph Lauren Baby.
